Great location in the medina, very friendly staff and lovely view from the roof terrace - make sure you catch the sunset! Breakfast was good and the place has been recently refurbished so felt very clean.

I loved the whole place! You know when a place totally exceeds expectations? This place certainly did! Big room, beautifully furnished, really clean. Gorgeous terrace with a sea view where you can eat the tasty breakfast. The whole riad is super " arty," unique and gorgeous. Great location in the medina, a few minutes walk to the beach and the bus stop for Marrakech. Friendly staff. Airport drop-off arranged for me, and although the owner was away, she still took care of me and answered my questions.

Hands down the best riad/hotel we stayed at in Morocco!! Excellent location, spacious room, great water pressure. The bed was so comfy and the room was immaculate. Even the finer details such as the high quality of the linens and towels made it so comfortable. The real star of the show is the owner/host Mary. What a treasure! She made us feel so at home. Nothing was a bother, and all of her recommendations were excellent. She was so flexible and even let us stay an extra night - that’s how much we loved our time here. All of the staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful. Saed even organised for our laundry to be sent off. Arya the cat was also lovely. The view from the terrace was beautiful and so relaxing. We will definitely return here in the future. A big thank you to the team 🧡

The place is absolutely beautiful, with lovely decor and incredible attention to detail in the interior design. Our room was very spacious and equally beautiful. The rooftop is stunning, perfect for breakfast by the ocean or sunset views. Great location, right in the heart of the Medina. Mary, the owner, was fantastic, with lots of recommendations on how to best enjoy our stay in Essaouira. The staff was equally lovely and amazing, although I can’t recall all their names, I have to highlight the man who was particularly friendly and kind throughout our visit. One of the standout moments was when we left early one morning for surfing. Despite the early hour, the staff working in the kitchen went out of their way to prepare us an improvised, yet absolutely delicious breakfast to take with us.

Such friendly and wonderful staff, happy to pass on tips about the city, great breakfast every morning and organised a great transfer from and to Marrakech. Also a great location and a perfect spot for watching the sunset every evening. Thank you to all the Dar Adul team for making us feel so welcomed and for your hospitality. Simon & Amy 🧡🙏🏼🐫

Amazing breakfast, very confortable and calm riad, very helpful and friendly staff & with a wonderful view from the rooftop! Very good location - inside the old town of Essaouira. Would certainly visit again!
