Kindness of the staff. I enquired about laundry and a very kind and attentive staff member offered to do my laundry … for free (even though I was happy to pay). I’ve never come across this before in my travels.

It was a lovely properly with loads of space, right in the heart of the Medina but felt peaceful and quiet. The staff were truly exceptional.

Our room was very well appointed, clean and airy. The whole Riad was beautiful and its location was perfect, close to everything. The rooftop breakfast room had a fabulous view across the ocean.

We liked the freshness of the place and the amount of light into our room during the day. Breakfast was great and always varied a little bit which was nice. Staff were amazing and all lovely

You can't get much more luxurious than this for the price! I can't be more effusive in my praise for Chems Bleu - everything was spotless, the rooms were gorgeous and the breakfast was fantastic! The views over Essaouira from the rooftop terrace were beautiful and the staff were exceptionally friendly, and went the extra mile with little touches that didn't go un-noticed. I'd highly recommend this riad for anyone wanting a great value riad within the medina of Essaouira, thank you to the staff for such a special stay!

One of the best hotels during our trip to Morocco. Cozy and stylish design, comfortable rooms, very clean and sunny, you can see ocean from the balconies. We also enjoyed delicious breakfast and would like to thank all members of staff for helping to organise birthday cake for people in our group. Riad is very well located, in the centre of medina, close to the ocean and most of the landmarks.
