A very cosy and classic riad located in the heart of Essaouira medina with very friendly and helpful staff. Our stay was very enjoyable, especially breakfasts served on the rooftop terrace.

One of the most beautiful places we stayed at during our tour of Morroco. Entered by a short alley with a high-end carpet shop, you arrive at a tastefully decored atrium. Friendly staff made this a very welcoming place. Our room was large, equipped with two single beds and an en-suite. Loved it!

This is a traditional, family run riad, in a great location, right in the heart of the Medina. The hotel manager generously upgraded our room at no extra charge. The traditional Moroccan breakfast of coffee/tea, orange juice, bread with oil, honey and jam, mesmet (Moroccan pancakes) and an omelette was delicious and a great start to the day.

This was my first time in Essaouira and I was a little bit concerned about my host. However, Cavernd d'Ali Baba was the right decision. The staff was what I liked most. They were super nice to us in everything. Our triple bedroom was very clean and they cleaned it every morning. Location is great and everything is close by. Breakfast: what I can say, this is espectacular. You will enjoy it. I am sure that when I return to Esaouira, I will come back to this hostal again.

Place was close to the beach and medina. Kind and helpful staff. These is very good restaurant close to this riad. I can recommend this place for short stay in Morocco

Lovely character riad in a great location, in the centre of things, it was chaos outside but very quiet inside! The bedroom was quite a good size and cool. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfasts were generous. There was a very nice communal roof terrace.
