Excellent location, very near to a couple of museums, walking paths and parks. Being in a quieter part of town, it felt nicely isolated and serene.

Fantastic hotel, great location, housed in historic building. Room was great size, exceptionally clean, comfy bed. Dinner surprisingly good & breakfast adequate. Highly recommend, would definitely stay again.

The location, right on the expansive river and part of the Munktell Museum complex is hard to beat. The staff were all friendly, engaging and helpful, especially larger-than-life Angelo in the restaurant. Half board as part of summer tariffs is great and convenient, as there are no other restaurants within two blocks of the hotel. The rooms are spacious with lovely high ceilings and big windows that open. The bathrooms are a good size. The outside seating at the restaurant is fabulous—it overlooks the lake and is a perfect place to unwind in good weather. I felt very safe as a solo traveller, as it’s a good family-friendly hotel.

Great meals, breakfast, pika, dinner. Homestyle Swedish cuisine, and breakfast offerings were wide in variety. Staff were nice and friendly
