Room and bed were very big, sheets on the bed were great and the bed was very comfortable. I liked that they had both Lyons and Barry's tea in the room, it was a very nice touch. Location was also lovely, it was nice sitting out the front in the sun with a coffee from their little coffee shop in the bar area. My room didn't have a bath despite the room I booked saying it would. I had a pizza in the bar, I had to wait a good while before being served, people who arrived after me were served before me. The pizza was just a frozen pizza, and really expensive for what it was. The pool area was lovely, the man at the desk was friendly and helpful. Locker rooms were really clean, lockers were easy to use and you don't have to have coins. Pool itself was lovely, and the steam room. The jacuzzi was cloudy, which I thought might have just been chlorine or something, but when I turned it on the water smelled quite dirty. I saw someone else sit in it for about a minute before getting out so it wasn't just me!

We loved the swimming pool it was my kids first time and they were mad to go back . The decor and size if the room however the layout and safety left a bit to be desired .the playground and the locating is fab it truly was the sunny south east. The kids loved the hotel and haven't stopped talking about it .

Restaurant staff in The Moorings were amazing. Being a solo parent travelling with a 6 and a 3 year old, any help is always appreciated. The girls were so lovely there. I had initially wanted a table in the bar but being a Saturday evening it was packed. The girls did nothing to help me. Got a lovely quiet room as requested so was very happy with that. Reception staff could have been more helpful. Had to ring down to get blankets for the cot. Was given a flimsy blanket that would barely cover a 6 month old.

We really enjoyed our stay our room was amazing bar food was unreal and the breakfast was amazing kids really enjoyed the pool and all the staff was so lovely we will definitely be back again soon

My only criticism is the Voya shampoo bottle wasn't actually Voya. The body wash was but not the shampoo

The hotel was clean, comfortable and had excellent facilities. Staff were efficient, professional and able to flexibly engage in appropriate craic and banter.
