It is what I would consider to be a typical, privately run German Hotel. Travelling with a small dog, we were both welcomed, the proprietor has a similar dog himself, and gave a doggie treat to my pet! I think however it's best days are behind it now: the Restaurant has been mothballed, the Beer Garden is unused and overgrown, and there is a For Sale sign outside. Did I enjoy my stay? Yes. Would I stay there again? Yes also. Just be prepared to eat elsewhere in the evening.
