Lovely resort, we had a beautiful private pool with nice view and sun for the majority of the day. It was nice that there were a few different places to go so it didn’t feel so repetitive

Check in, check out and location: Greeted with a wonderful, stress-free check-in experience. Everything was clearly explained at the beginning. Location is wonderful- around 15 minutes walk from the town of Elounda, with fantastic views over Elounda Bay and Spinalonga Island. Check-out was also a pleasant, stress-free experience. Very pleasantly surprised by a lovely little ornamental gift from the staff upon departure- very thoughtful. Food: nice variety of tasty food at the buffet. A-la-carte sushi restaurant was absolutely top-notch. Highly recommended. Room: spacious, clean, well-equipped/supplied and with a lovely balcony with a view over the bay (Sapphire Nest room type). Staff: wonderful on all counts- really friendly, helpful people. Amenities: private beach was great for spending the afternoons relaxing, especially great with the bar on the beach. Gym facilities are excellent- very well equipped. Grab&Go drinks fridge (basically a fridge full of soft drinks you can help yourself to) is a useful concept!

We liked everything about Domes Aulus Elounda. Our room was spacious and modern, the bed was huge and extremely comfortable, the a-c was unobtrusive and the view was incredible. The all-inclusive elements are managed with care and we particularly enjoyed the Cretan specialties that were always part of the buffet. We also ate in the grill restaurant and the sushi restaurant so there are multiple options for dinner, which we really enjoyed. We went to the beach every day and loved the beach bar with really tasty sandwiches and salads that you can just help yourself too. Beyond the practical, what we really appreciated was the atmosphere of genuine care the hotel staff worked really hard to create. Their hospitality was really outstanding. No request was too much trouble and we felt really looked after. Examples include Nikos at the beach bar who works really hard to create interesting Greek cocktails for the guests and who chats with genuine interest to the guests and Zoe in reception who always responded incredibly cheerfully to our questions and organized a late check out for us with no fuss at all. We are already planning a return trip! It was exceptional.

The overall experience from the minute we arrived was more than excellent. the staff were so accommodating that we felt it would be a place we will come back to regularly. Well done Effie in the restaurant who looked after our dietary needs. We will see you soon.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Domes Elounda Aulus Hotel and it was a great and relaxing vacation from start to finish. The location of the hotel is very close to the beach and since the property is scattered along the side of a hill / mountain, the views from everywhere are breathtaking. I stayed in one of the Zen suites in the Cool Living section with private pool and bath tub right by the window overlooking the sea...simply stunning. On the cold, windier days, this was a great way to wind down and warm myself up :-) The Cool Living section also grants you access to the Greco Levante restaurant and I had the pleasure of dining here twice. Both times I feel were the culinary highlight of our stay as the food was haute cuisine and the service was impeccable. Given it is at the highest point of the resort, the ambience and views were stunning. For the majority of our meals, we dined at the Island Buffet regularly as we like to take our time. I found there were many options to choose from at either breakfast, lunch or dinner. There surely is something for everyone. We ate at the Yellow Sea restaurant once which was very delicious but opted not to return because it was a very rushed dining experience. I would like to make a special aside here to mention that what truly sets Domes Elounda Aulus Hotel apart from the rest is the exceptional staff present from every category of the hotel: reception, bar staff, wait staff, concierge, managers, Maria the Yoga/Pilates instructor, etc. It didn't matter what the role of the staff member was, every single one of them were kind, courteous, warm, welcoming and extremely helpful. Throughout my stay, every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. One particular note of appreciation goes to Christina and her staff at the Island Buffet Restaurant: Dora, Nikos, Vassiliki, especially, who went above and beyond to ensure we were well looked after.
