The location outside of Ella main town within the forest was perfect, and within a short walking distance from the Nine Arch Bridge too. The rooms were large and comfortable and spotlessly clean. The standout was our host, Siva who is an amazing chef. The breakfasts are fantastic, which we're included in our rate, but there really is no need to venture out for dinner as his Sr Lankan curries are wonderful. We would stay there again in an instant. Thank you guys for a truly outstanding stay !

This was our best stay in Sri Lanka. The room was spacious, tidy and had a balcony overlooking nature, so we could see peacocks and squirrels. The breakfast was excellent, Sashi and his friend worked extremely hard. Every morning there was something new and different. Sashi is extremely helpful, he was able to arrange any activity... The facility is located in a wonderful location, in nature and greenery, near the trail for the Nine arch cares. The price is extremely favorable. Thank you for your hospitality and helpfulness, we would recommend Tea forrest lodge to anyone for a stay in Ella.

The service and the breakfast was really good! It is really nice to enjoy the morning on the balcony as you can see a lot of different birds and animals. Super nice to come down and relax.

The place is wonderful. If you open the window, you can see a lot of tropical trees. Falling asleep and waking up to the sounds of tropical insects is a special pleasure. Nearby is the Nine-Arch Bridge. Also nearby is the Little Adam's Peak. You can walk to all locations in 10 minutes. You can get to the tourist village of Ella in 20-30 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by tuk-tuk. Breakfasts are simply excellent, local cuisine. The guys from the hotel helped with renting a moped, for which they are special thanks!

The best thing was that the staff was always there for us, they really made us feel like home. Each breakfast was different, a lot of fruit and the customised tastier that they ask you every morning.

Very friendly and caring staff. Don't forget your binoculars during breakfast, you can spot many birds. Room was clean. Good breakfast as well. Location is outside town, but east reachable wih a tuktuk. We really liked the location; not so crowded compared to Ella' center.

Convenient stay just outside the madness of Ella. The lovely staff took great care of us. The rooms are basic, but clean. The terrace where the breakfast is served is great and really gives you the feeling being in the jungle!

It is one of the best locations and hosts we had on Sri Lanka, if not the best. Sashi and Siva even taught us how to cook their local meals. The location is in the jungle, far from city noises and high in mountains, so no A/C is ever needed. Food is more than amazing, and they genuinely care about their guests. We had such a great time that we would return any day and will recommend this one to our family and friends!

This was one of my fave stays in Sri Lanka. Our room's balcony overlooked an avocado tree and the in the morning we watched squirrels and birds from there. Savi really looked after us, he was very welcoming on arrival and cooked wonderful and varied breakfast and dinner for us. He's an excellent chef and the food was a highpoint of our stay. The food was really fresh. This is a little out of Ella but a nice walk downhill and only 500 rupees back. The price of this accommodation is great value for money. Ella town is very touristic, if you want to avoid that then tea forest lodge is perfect for you Great location for hiking trails and the 9 arches bridge. I

Lovely quiet spot above the town a little. Very easy walk to the railway bridge and/or down into town. Hosts were lovely and the breakfast good.
