Lucky the host made our stay at the Spice Hotel unforgettable. He is a very friendly and amazing person and we are very thankful that we met him on our trip. The whole staff was very nice. He organized a tour to the Hortons Plains Nationalpark for us and took very good care of us the whole stay. He arranged our Bustrip to the next destitution also. I t was possible to extend it spontaneously for one night. The location of the hotel is perfect for a stay in Ella. On the opposite of the hotel you can rent a scooter and the whole street it full of great restaurants and bars. Nine Arch and little Adams Peak are very close by.

I had a FANTASTIC time at Spice Ella! Level 1 is for fun and games with a pool table, a small staging area with music, and a TV, while Level 2 is for fine dining and live sports (projector screen) with a live bar. The rooms, comfortable and clean, are slightly removed from the main road and hence peaceful & quiet with only birdsongs waking you up in the morning, ensuring a good night’s sleep. There are wide open spaces around the rooms for walking or sitting, with a rooftop to chill. Their kitchen is easily among the best in town and I had the luxury of being treated to some of their lip-smacking Indian food, which is currently off the menu. Many thanks to Rohan and Akila for their impeccable service & attention to detail, and a special mention to GM Sir who along with his staff went above & beyond to make my stay extra special. I stayed during a cricket world cup and thoroughly enjoyed watching the games here. I will never forget this experience. I can confirm that Spice Ella offers the most complete food, fun, & lodging experience in all of Ella. Thank you, can’t wait to come back!
