The view is worth the tuk tuk ride up there. Kanchana brought us tea on arrival and was very welcoming. I called her from the station as it is very difficult to find without help. She sent a tuk tuk to pick us up. We did 4 tuk tuk rides in total which were massively overpriced, but worth it to avoid walking the steep hill!

Amazing place, wonderful view, comfortable and very clean! The view was amazing and peaceful as a little bit away from the busy centre. We were made to feel at home by this beautiful family. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and we also had a candle lit dinner served to us on the balcony. Really good food for a great price. Unbeatable. We spent 2 nights and would have stayed longer if we could. Absolutely recommended.

The most beautiful view to wake up to! The location was convenient to get to the tourist places. The hostess is a very nice lady. She got in touch a good few days before our arrival in Ella. Gave clear instructions to find the place. We had a hearty, large home-cooked breakfast with an amazing view right after a sunrise trek. The hostess was good enough to leave a big cold-drink bottle along with other amenities on our arrival. The room was spacious.

the accommodation is great. an incredibly beautiful view and you are on your own. everything is clean and well maintained. In the morning there was a great breakfast on the balcony and when we had to leave early the next morning, she prepared a breakfast for us to take away and organized a tuktuk for us to the train station. the owner is incredibly friendly and helpful♥️ we felt very welcome. If you are in Ella, you should definitely stay in this accommodation

This stand alone bungalow nestled amongst tree with a private terreace and dramatic views of the valley and waterfall below was such a find. Immaculately clean, a hot shower and large comfy bed. Kanchana and her family were the most delightful hosts. So friendly, helpful and welcoming. Oh and the breakfast ❤️

Our host was kind and generous, wonderful woman and a fantastic chef ! Huge portions of beautiful home cooked meals delivered to our balcony, a massive bedroom, hot water.. a lovely treat in Ella, and there's THE VIEW !! This best place we stayed at in 15 days travelling around Sri Lanka.

This place is impossible to beat! The room was wonderful, nestled in the nature overviewing the waterfall. The host is absolutely amazing. She made us feel at home from the moment of check in till the last minute, great host and fantastic cook. The breakfast and the dinner were delicious (every night a new dish to try… never a disappointment! Ps loved the jackfruit!). This place deserve a 10/10, highly recommended! I think the place was definitely the highlight of Ella!
