We ended Pekoe trail 14 close to Mantella and took a cab to this place, so for us it was excellent to have dinner as well as breakfast here (we were very tired, and a tuktuk would have costs is a lot since the location is not really close to Ella or Bandarawela. The dinner... Best rice and curry (chicken, potato and dhal) in Sri Lanka so far! Also the homemade Sri Lanka breakfast pancakes (with coconut, sugar, cinnamon and cardamom) were really good.

The owners were incredibly kind and helpful. The food was very tasty and the room was clean. The villa is surrounded by tranquil garden, and you just don't want to leave this place! 😍

Everything is just excellent. Very nice, kind hosts. They gave us blankets, made tea/coffee, brought us cookies and fruit. Washed our bike. In the morning a delicious breakfast was prepared. Very caring. This is the best thing I've seen on the island! I advise everyone. When you book a room, just call them before arrival and they will go to the main road, meet you and take you straight to the house so as not to get confused in the jungle) There is a beautiful balcony with a table and a great view where you can eat. Also, avocados grow on the trees near the house and you can see the train passing by 😍

The couple who run this place and lovely people who can’t do enough for you. Home made breakfast and dinner is available and is made with fresh ingredients from their garden. The surrounding greenery is peaceful. They also rented us their bike so we could explore Ella.

The Orchid villa is a wanderful place for tourists to stay peacefully and enjoy the holidays. The friendly talking and the hospitality of the family is really superb and it made our stay and travelling more comfortable. The meals have finger linking taste and prices are reasonable. The stay at the villa is worth full.
