Fabulous views over the valley below, the trains go by on the circuit into Ella. Great breakfast - lots of fruit. Hot water comes through later in the day as it’s Solar heated. The walk to Ella rock and into Ella is down the steep hill to Kithalella station and along the track - you can board the train from here also.

The host is really nice, amazing view, big glass windows and super clean. Room has a fridge and is quite big, double the size of a normal room. It’s 10 min tuktuk ride from Ella’s center so nice and quiet.

Just a very cozy room with a very lovely view overlooking Ella! Breakfasts are magic. The owner, Upul, is so friendly and helpful.

We loved this property so much! Really comfy big bed, the bedding was clean and fresh. The views from this place are what sold it for it but we booked based on its lovely reviews… the breakfast is delicious. All home made Sri Lankan food and it’s brought to the balcony where you can enjoy the view and listen to the wildlife. The father and son running this place do such a lovely job at making you feel welcome and at home. It’s also a shorter walk to Ella rock trail head from here too which is a bonus. It’s a short tuk tuk ride out of the town centre but we were happy to walk in and get tuk tuks back up as it’s a steep windy road… It’s so worth it for the view, lovely hosts and breakfast !

The location and the view were astonishing, exactly as shown in the photos. Breakfast was also very tasty and had lots of different foods.

This was absolutely our best stay in Sri Lanka! The room is really nice (recently renovated) and huge! But the best thing is it open out onto the most amazing balancy overlooking the mountains which you can see sunrise from. The son and dad host duo are so incredibly lovely! And finally, the breakfast is best breakfast we have had yet! They provided so much food with lovely fresh fruits! It’s fantastic! We extended our stay and still never wanted to leave!
