This was one of my favorite places to stay at in Sri Lanka. It's located close to all the main things to do in and around Ella, although not in the centre where it can be quite crowded and noisy. The room was perfectly clean and spacious, the balcony was great! Breakfast was delicious. Best of all is the host, who is very friendly and helpful, whenever needed. Felt very welcome and personal. Would've loved to stay a couple more days. Thank you so much!

Nice family that run the homestay, very helpful and good breakfasts. Good location near Ella town centre , just a small steep hill up to the property and quiet location so you can’t hear the party noises

The owner and his family are so kind! Also the breakfast was great because the Sri Lankan options varied every day. For the money you pay you get a really good option to stay and explore Ella.

It was a perfect stay for me. The accommodation is next to the heart of Ella and easy to reach. My room was big and the bed comfortable. I got a Sri Lankan breakfast every morning. The hosts were are really nice and lovely. They gave me a lot of tips and information about activity’s and showed me some beautiful spots near by Ella. There were no problems about the WiFi. And the coolest part: it was an opportunity to book an cooking lesson. That was such an perfect, delicious and interesting experience! I learned a lot and we cooked with vegetables which are available in my country.

Tharanga is a very friendly and welcoming host. He has always a smile on his face and gives great advices for tours around Ella. The room is clean and the bed comfortable. Tharanga drove us for a reasonable price to Udawalawe National Park. Thanks and also for the delicious ginger tea 😃

Accommodation is simple but good. The host is outstandingly kind! Helped us with every question and recommended things to do during our stay. The breakfast is just great! Changes every morning:) Location works pretty well to see the most common things in Ella.
