The hospitality and service were top notch. The reception staff Sahiroo were amazing and the food was flavourful and well organised. We especially liked the welcome drink in the small hut by the hotel.

Extraordinary views and a view spot on top of the hotel. Really helpful and friendly staff. The food was delicious. I was afraid about the distance from Ella, but we managed to get transportation between hotel and Ella easily.

A little out the way from Ella but lovely and relaxing quiet. Thought the restaurant could have had a little more atmosphere, some gentle music in the background and the lighting not so bright.

As is typical of most hotels we have stayed at, all the staff was very friendly whether it be at the reception or in the restaurant. Breakfast was buffet style and so you could control how much you ate. We sat out on the porch and had an unparalleled view of the surrounding mountains. That was a real thrill. Although we could have eaten Sri Lankan-style food for breakfast, we chose to eat continental-style food. The hotel only served white bread, however, which we never eat back home. Dinners, however, were Sri Lankan and excellent, especially their curds with treacle... There was also a lovely pool but, as it was not sunny and coolish, we swam only a little as the water was cold. There is also lots to see and do in the region. We climbed Ella Rock and little Adam's Peak but did not do the Zipline, We also walked to see the 9 Arches bridge but did not take the train ride. I cannot tell you whether it was worth it or not.
