Incredible stay, the location is perfect as it’s a short 10 minute walk to the main town and train station (which is essentially a strip with lots of bars/restaurants), so it’s good to be a short walk away from the hectic crowds and have your own calming space with incredible views across the hills. We could see Ella Rock, waterfalls and the train line in the distance from our room. The staff are so friendly and helpful and will organise taxis, transfers, day trips or whatever you need for your stay. They organised tuks for us to see some nearby waterfalls, nine arches bridge and little Adam’s peak. The room is very spacious and clean and great en suite bathroom with hot water. The best part is the breakfast which is the best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka. Would highly recommend staying here if you are going to Ella.

The room we stayed in was spacious, clean and comfortable. The two staff members at the property were kind and helpful and the view from the balcony was exceptional. The breakfast was generous and delicious and the TV had loads of channels - including live sport. The bed was really comfortable with a mosquito net surrounding it if needed. The property itself is situated slightly out of the way from main street providing a very relaxing and quiet stay. Getting to the main street in Ella was a 5-10 minute uphill walk or a 2 minute tuk tuk ride. We highly recommend this property for a stay in Ella!

We arrived in the dark after our train was delayed. The host was most welcoming, and there were cold beers in the fridge! In the morning, we woke up to the most stunning views and the sounds of a distant waterfall. Our host arranged our visit to the tea plantation, then a driver (at reasonable cost) to our next destination. This was a great place to stay, not least because we enjoyed the best breakfast of our entire trip to Sri Lanka here - eggs, freshly prepared fruit, and Sri Lankan fare. Delicious! It was a pity we were only here for one night.

Stunning views and incredible breakfast. The staff was always very kind and available. Really great value for money. Rooms are not brand new but in good condition and clean. There a steep hill on the access to the hotel, but the hotel provides a tuk tuk if needed.

Quiet located hotel, very kind personal, super service and very fair priced Minibar (with beer for 600 LKR each). Tuk-Tuk tour service in-house, also very fair priced. The best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka. All in all, a completely worth and nice experience. We can recommend without any doubts. The hotel is like a 10min walk uphill away from Ella main street, so taxi or Tuk-Tuk is not necessarily needed for shopping and the "town experience". The view is also awesome because you are able to watch awesome mountain ranges with a waterfall straight on the other side. Relaxing place with even more relaxing, green yet clean look.

Lavendra Paradise is an amazing place to stay at. The staff is great and very attentive and friendly. The view from the terrace is absolutely spectacular! We also really liked the location because it was quiet but nevertheless only a 10 min walk from the town. The breakfast was delicious and we always got homemade Sri Lankan breakfast options as well and we loved trying those.

It is indeed a paradise! The terrace with the view is stunning! This was the best breakfast we had in 3 weeks in Sri Lanka and we stayed in way more luxury places too. The room is comfortable and clean and you have airconditioning, something rare in Ella. And the host Shan is amazing! He gave us great tips and arranged everything for us. Always responsive, the tuk tuk available, he made our stay! Thank you so much Shan!

Nice spot, a bit outside of the noisy area which we really enjoyed. Our terrace (where we also had breakfast) has an incredible view and the whole room was very clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend the Sri Lankan breakfast. Perfect stay if you are in Ella!

Absolutely beautiful guesthouse set in stunning surroundings. Sitting outside with the view of the mountains, Ella Rock and waterfalls is just unbelievable. 2/3 min tuktuk to the town or you can walk easily for 10 mins but it's uphill! Very nice and helpful staff, great very large breakfast each morning (Sri Lankan and European) Comfortable room and very clean. All around fantastic place to stay.
