This place is unbelievable. Perfect location to be away from traffic in Ella and the hospitality was outstanding. Brought us a bottle of wine for our honeymoon and made us tea every night before bed. Breakfast was delicious and all for a unbelievable price.

We had a perfect stay at Iddyl Cottage Ella! Everything was perfect: the room was very clean and comfortable, and the view from the terrace was simply breathtaking. The staff was very kind and attentive. They went above and beyond to make our stay easy and enjoyable, helping us with tuk-tuks, organizing excursions, arranging taxis, giving restaurant recommendations, and even assisting with small needs like adapters or bottled water. The homemade breakfast was delicious and very generous! Served on the terrace of our room, it was a real treat every morning. This accommodation was the highlight of our trip to Ella, and we can’t recommend it enough!

I had a wonderful stay at Idyll Cottage Ella! The bed was very comfortable, and the location offered an incredible view that made our experience even more special. Dashana, our host, was exceptionally helpful and kind, making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Chann was an amazing host who gave us some great local recommendations and always served up a generous breakfast for us. The kitchen / dining area is outdoors, which meant there were a few insects around which didn’t concern us too much but worth noting if that’s something that bothers you. The room itself is basic with a very comfy bed and a magnificent view over the valley. It’s just a short (10-15 min) walk down to Ella. We walked back up the stairs to get some exercise in but there are plenty of Tuk tuks to take you up if it’s too much - the view is well worth it either way.

Fantastic view, delicious home-made breakfast - especially the honey-coconut pancake. Spacious room, you can see the landscape even from the bed. Very kind & helpful staff.

Probably the most amazing place I've visited. The view from the room is beautiful, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast is great. The location is perfect—quiet and just a 10-minute walk to the city.

I liked absolutely everything! A wonderful place to relax in Ella! The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and hospitable! The rooms are clean and beautiful, the view is excellent, the breakfasts are very tasty. Thanks a lot!!!

Comfortable and spacious room with a mountain view. About 15 min walk to ella town center but uts worth it since its much more quiet and relaxed. The gentleman at the hotel arranged excursions and taxis for us at a great price
