The location, very value for price! The family that runs it, they are always smiling and helping you. They took us to the bus station with the Tuk Tuk and helped us on how to get to Yala by bus. The view from the terrace is stunning!

Absolutely amazing place I’ve extended my stay once I arrived and saw the place, the best stay I had in Sri Lanka. Great location, walking distance to all the main attractions of Ella. location 10/10, personal 10/10, the view 1000/10. I will highly recommend this place to absolutely anyone who is planning to stay in Ella.

Very nice place with a great view. I had a big room with.balcony. The location is great, just a few minutes walk to the centre. The family is so nice! They also bring you to the station for free.

Where to start? -the most friendly family that i met on my 3 weeks trip around Srí Lanka. Their smile is contagious :) Delicious breakfast, everyday changing it. And the view is mesmerising. Wow. We enjoyed our stay in Green village homestay to the fullest. Thank you. Will gladly come back.

The property is located near the main road where there are restaurants and various shops but it can be a bit inconvenient to get there on foot for a short climb to do completely in the dark. The room was sufficiently clean. The strong point is definitely the view of the infinite green of Ella.
