Very clean and well kept property. Nice modern rooms and bathrooms. Lovely view of Ella. Excellent breakfast. Good location away from the noise of the Main Street but only a 5 minute tuktuk ride. Nimal the owner was wonderful - helped arranged tours and tuktuks and very attentive to ensure his guests have everything they need! As a solo traveler I felt very safe. Highly recommend!

The owners are warm, kind and super friendly, we were made to feel very welcomel. Nirmal went over and above to help us and also arranged tuktuks to the main street and station. Breakfast was plentiful and very fresh, the best I had in Srilanka.

Amazing breakfast, better than posh hotels as it’s all made fresh for you. Comfortable beds. Super helpful and friendly owner and family. Good location 10 min walk from main Ella street, so away from the noise and business but close enough to easily go for food etc.

The Nimal Nest Inn is amazing, from the views to the food there was nothing to complain about. Everything is spotless and clean, the breakfast is always served fresh and the beds were super comfy. The best part of the stay was Nimal, he is a fantastic guy who will go above and beyond for you. Anything you need he can sort it. He knows the best routes for walking especially to Ella rock and the Nine Arch bridge. It is around 1hr 30mins to the bottom 2hr to the top of Ella rock from Nimal Nest and the nine arch’s about 50 mins all along the train track. The location is perfect. The walk into town was less than a 10 minute walk and you can’t hear the town when you are back at the inn. There are 5 dogs there which Nimal treats very lovingly and they are very well behaved. They either stay at the front of the property or in the reception area and they are no problem at all. We also did a cooking class with Nimal which was delicious and insightful and there was also a laundry service which was very helpful. All together I couldn’t recommend Nimal Nest Inn enough, has to be one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Thank you again Nimal for your amazing hospitality, you are such a kind man!!

We had a great stay. Nimal is extremely friendly and always willing to help you with arranging activities. When you walk along the train Tracks it only takes 10 minutes to Ella

We had a large family room with two super comfortable beds, modern bathroom, private balcony with hammocks and a gorgeous sunrise view. Breakfast was delicious. Our host and his team were so helpful, knowledgeable, chilled and friendly We loved being nestled in the trees overlooking a little Adam's Peak but could make it to Ella in 15 mins walking or a 6 min Tuk Tuk.. The perfect balance and my family's favourite hotel in all of Sri Lanka!

Can’t speak highly enough of Nimal and his beautiful home stay hidden at the back of Ella. Surprisingly close to the centre of Ella, it’s a short walk (10 mins) to the main shops and restaurants. The rooms are clean, well equipped and the view is amazing from the deck. The breakfast was exceptional, and can be prepared at a time that suits:
