It's a sole proprietorship concern. The owner is a young, smart man aware of global issues. The view is excellent. Employees need more grooming in handling clothing and cleaning. There is always some room for continuous improvement - looks, color, furniture, fixtures, change in decoration. I wish the owner good luck for his future

We loved our stay at Ella Hide View! The staff were absolutely incredible and the room and view was fantastic. It was perfect being away from the noise and hustle of town and the quick walk down the steps got you into Ella in under 15minutes. The staff were the highlight of our stay, Priyantha and the team were so attentive and helpful and happy to have you with them. Couldn’t recommend enough.

This hotel is a bit of a hidden gem. And we got very lucky to actually discover it, after not-so impressive stay at another location in Ella. Our top floor penthouse offered unparalelled views on the valley and nearby falls, worth every penny. Our room was brand new, tasteful, comfy and very clean. Breakfast was a real delight, and one would love to sip coffee for long hours while seating on the terrace. Hotel staff was very helpful, they truly wanted to make our stay memorable and went extra mile to take good care of us.

This place has one of the most amazing views! We could hear the sound of a waterfall from our room. The staff is very nice and welcoming, they also arrange little tuktuk tours to the most popular sites, like the Nine Arches bridge. We stayed in the big room with mountain view and balcony. The breakfast was delicious! It’s not easy to reach, because of a steep and narrow little road, bit it’s very short. The staff can pick you up with their tuktuk if needed.

The breakfast was outstanding. A huge fruit platter, eggs done to your taste, pancake, yoghurt, toast and jam, Sri Lankan speciality treats, fresh fruit smoothie... The staff went out of their way to help us, making sure we were comfortable and happy with whatever we needed and requested. Pirantha in particular was very helpful and friendly, helping to find us reasonably priced transport for our full, one- day tour. The view, facing Rawana Falls was out of this world.
