Everything. Absolutely beautiful accommodation and settings - the balcony overlooking the jungle and Ella Rock/Little Adam's peak was the highlight for me. But the room was also spacious, the bed huge and exactly to me liking (firm but comfortable mattress), bathroom good with good water pressure and warm(ish) water (but you don't need much more in Sri Lanka). The breakfast was just in the same proportion, and also delicious. Ajith and the rest of the staff were very accomodating and helpful. It was perfect to walk to Ellas Rock from and you can also walk into town through the railway (although a bit longer than through the road). I loved being away from the hustle and bustle of the center.

It is a lovely and quite place to stay a little bit out of the tourist places in Ella. You will have a wonderful view from your room to Ella rock. It is a good location to start your hike to Ella rock. The railway is very close by (we were walking from the homestay to Bee Honey and followed the railway to tea plantations up to the rock). It is a perfect stay for one or two nights. We would recommend to stay here for one night and afterwards switch to another place closer to the nine arches bridge. Then you will have the chance to go up to Ella rock one morning and in the other morning you will avoid the crowds on nine arches bridge. Highly recommend to stay here especially when you have your own Tuk Tuk.

The room was spotlessly clean and had the most amazing view and balcony! A beautiful place to sit and watch the sunrise. Ajith and his family provided a fantastic breakfast each morning and were very helpful with organising tuks for us whenever we needed one. The property is about 25 min walk from the main road in Ella, but the peace and views make it the perfect place for a more relaxed stay.

Amazing Homestay! We absolutely loved our 3 nights here. Ajith the host is so welcoming, generous and friendly. He also helped us with a car to Weligama at the last minute, for a good price. There are great views out to the hills and you can see the train going past. Lovely balcony to sit and relax in nature. We were able to sleep with the shutters open which was lovely and because of the cooler temperatures it was perfect. Very few bugs or mosquitos but there is a net over the bed if you need it. We slept like babies. The bed was super comfortable! The breakfast was delicious! You can easily walk down the hill into town where all the restaurants and shops are. Highly recommend Ajith’s place!

We had a really lovely stay! The view is absolutely stunning and the room itself is perfectly comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Daban was really kind and helpful. He arranged a tuktuk for us and helped me look for a hat I left on a bus. The house is located a bit further from the centre, which was perfect for us as it was really quiet and peaceful.

It’s really quiet and you are right in nature. The Breakfast was prepared lovely and very delicious. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. Daban and his family were really helpful and kind to all times.

Amazing views, amazing breakfasts and such kind hosts. It is located in the hills above Ella and an easy walk down to Ella, don’t miss the steps that are a short cut instead of the windy roads.
