A lovely, well-equipped, and clean accommodation. The area is quiet, yet just a 5-minute walk from the center. Janith is a very warm and helpful host who did his best to make our stay as pleasant as possible. He was always easy to reach if we had any questions, helped us plan our trips, and arranged a driver for us. The breakfast was plentiful and lovingly prepared.

Amazing, AMAZING place, I couldn’t fault it - it was 100% our favourite stay in the 2 weeks we were in Sri Lanka. The family who run this homestay are really lovely, friendly and so accommodating! The room was lovely, the view from the room was incredible, the breakfast was gorgeous and huge (you can choose between western & Sri Lankan), the wifi was perfect, and the location was great. It looks further away on maps to the main centre but there is a little cut through which get’s you there in 5 minutes. If you are coming to Ella I would really recommend staying here :)

This was great value and our hosts were fantastic. The owners of this homestay go above and beyond to help you on your stay. They are a lovely family. The location is closer to town than Google maps suggests as there is a more direct path one can walk. I would recommend this to any global wanderer looking for great value for money.

Janith provided a warm welcome that didn't fade during our time in Ella. He and his family provided non-intrusive but exceptional service during our stay. The view is wonderful and the birds and animals provided bonus interest. We had two rooms on two levels and each provided comfortable beds in very clean rooms. Breakfasts were probably the largest we enjoyed during our time in SL, plentiful hoppers, eggs, fruit, curd, juice, coffee, tea. Thanks for a great time Janith and family. Ella is a pretty busy bustly place with lots of tourists and Cozy provided a nice respite away from all of that, yet is only minutes away from the centre.

The perfect spot to stay in Ella, near the main touristic attractions. The room was spacious and clean with a beautiful view from the balcony. The breakfast was delicious and Janith and his family are warm, lovely and helpful people!

Great location for Little Adam’s Peak and Nine Arch Bridge walks - there’s a little short cut you get shown to the main road (which is lit well) that gets you into town very quickly too. Room was very clean and spacious, the view is amazing with the delicious breakfast, but the biggest selling point is Janith and his family who are wonderful and helpful hosts. Perfect spot to stay in Ella

Fantastic stay in this comfortable homestay with the nicest owners. Breakfast was magnificent and plentyfull. Comfortable bed and lovely view of the hills. Near the town through a shortcut (5 mmin walk), but still far away from the noise and busyness, so a great location

We loved our 5 night stay at Cozy Homestay, hosted by Janith and his lovely family. Fantastic location, very peaceful but only 5 mins walk from the centre. Clean room, comfortable bed, modern bathroom, and very generous breakfasts on the terrace. Janith is a generous host, and helped us organise tuk tuk transfers to the start of hikes at Makulella (Pekoe Trail Stage 15) and Liptons Seat - both highly recommended. He also organised our onward transport for us to the south coast. Highly recommended!
