The property has an amazing view on the Ella hills, a waterfall and the amazing train ride. Every morning you could enjoy the peace of the place before starting your day. My partner and dad even enjoyed a nice walk to the waterfall in the morning, before it got too warm. We had a super delicious dinner the second night.

The peaceful rural location outside of Ella was lovely. We had a wall of windows and a wrap around balcony with a great view of Ella’s Rock and the town. The room was large and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Lovely friendly staff who arranged a Driver for us when we moved on to Galle.

Large, spacious, clean room with full length and width sliding window opening onto balcony and overlooking the beautiful valley. Lovely well appointed bathroom with hot water and a bath. Very comfortable bed. Room well furnished with table, 2 chairs,. Also a sitting area with 2 chairs and a coffee table to watch TV. From the TV you can rent movies. There is a good working fridge in room The breakfast is excellent with Sri Lankan options. The menu has a good choice for dinner and well priced. No alcohol is available as they have no licence. The Kinthal ella rail station is 5 minutes walk away for a train into Ella, one stop away. Don't expect a regular service. The staff are very helpful and cannot do enough yo please. They arranged a motor cycle for us to go to the tea plantation/Liptons Chair. Also arrange Tuk Tuk for you. You can walk to Ella along the train line, about 30 minutes.

We had a wonderful stay at Cozy Cottage Ella on September 26th. The cottage was beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect retreat. The location was peaceful, yet close to local attractions, allowing us to explore easily. The amenities were excellent, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the cottage. The host was very welcoming and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a great stay. Overall, we highly recommend Cozy Cottage Ella for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We can’t wait to return!
