A beautiful property with very accomodating staff and a good distance away from town that it isn’t too loud but close enough to walk to town (400m). The view was stunning.

The view was amazing and it was quite, outside the hustle and bustle of the city center, at the same time very close to it, as it was just a 5 min walk to It. So position was super! Staff was super nice and I appreciate the breakfast the most 😍

Absolutely loved our stay here! The balcony, the views, the crew, the breakfast they serve on the balcony (what a treat), the comfortable bed, the hot shower - everything was perfect! Super spacious beautiful rooms, and there is a shortcut to Ella town, which means it’s only a 5 min walk. They also took care of booking our taxi from Kandy which was very well organised, and they made restaurant reservations for us. Thank you so much amazing Country Homes team - we wish we could have stayed longer!

It was just a short walk from the centre of Ella which was great as Ella was very polluted over the Christmas holiday period due to the number of cars, buses and Tuk tuks. The room was very spacious with a living area and balcony with fantastic views. Madyva. was incredibly kind and helpful and organised the taxi to Tangalle and brought the breakfast up every day. Watch the monkeys!
