We loved the wooden room, bed, balcony and amazing view. It was all very idyllic and it’s nice to be away from the busy part of Ella, but close enough to be there in 10 mins by tuk tuk. But the best part was the friendliness of the family. They were so kind and helpful and had us enjoyed a lovely sri lankan dinner and wondeful breakfasts.

The room is beautiful with a lovely terrace giving on a breathtaking view. We had breakfast and dinner on the terrace. Breakfast is a feast of fruit and different rotis and breads. Dinner was simply spectacular with eight different curries one better than the next. The family is incredibly kind and welcoming.

We definitely recommend this place! Nice accommodation with a beautiful view. We liked the fact that it was outside of the busy city. We could however easily go into the city as they have their own tuktuk driver that we could send a message for pickup or drop off (making it very comfortable). Furthermore, it is possible to have dinner there, which in our opinion is one of the best options for delicious Sri Lankan food (and much better than the busy tourist restaurants in Ella city centre). The breakfast was also the best we had in Sri Lanka and super diverse. Price quality it is a definite recommendation!

The location was up & away from the bustle of the city centre which was our preference and the views were incredible! Thusitha our tuk tuk driver was fabulous & took us to all the best places, he was a joy to have as our guide around Ella
