The views were excellent, the hosts were super friendly and helpful, breakfast was good! We could park right outside, it was walking distance to ella rock and the hosts allowed us to keep the bags there while we hiked and came back. The welcome juice with the lovely scenery was also great!

This was one of the best stays we had in Sri Lanka. The host lady was super nice and attentive to our needs. She served us the best Sri Lankan breakfast we had, with an incredibly beautiful view. (Plus, it was very cheap (the room itself was not so cheap). My wife had a nice little chat with the host, she speaks English very well and is simply an interesting, open-minded person. We felt like guests of the family, not clients, and that's very important to me when I choose this type of accomodation.

Chamodya Home Stay was so much more than what we expected! I honestly think it’s too cheap for what you get! The view from our room was breathtaking. You can even see waterfalls from your balcony! Stuff was extremely friendly and helpful! You can have your own peace but they help you if you need anything! We arrived to Chamodya from Ella railway station with tuk tuk and we thought it was a little far away from the city but seemed out it’s actually very close if you walk! Less than 10 minutes and you are in city! There is shorter way but it’s trough the railways so tuk tuk can’t obviously drive there Room was very clean and big! We liked the bed very much and WiFi was excellent! About the breakfast, it was so big! They ask you what you want and make it! If I ever go back to Ella this is the place I choose! Thank you so much and hopefully see you in future!

Lovely host, she is so friendly and helps you with everything. The room is nice, simple, spacious, has amazing views and even a warm shower. Amazing (big!) breakfast.

The room was very nice and the views from the balcony were amazing. You can see Ella rock and littke Adams peak as well as a waterfall. The host was very nice snd the breakfasts superb. The balcony offered peace and quiet away from the busy touristy high street

The owner is very nice and helpful. We had a very good stay and the breakfast is amazing. We had the best view from our room and breakfast area. I really recommend it!

Wonderful view on Ella Rock, great breakfast and welcoming people. The room is simple but spacious, the centre of Ella is just a few minutes to walk to.

The homestay was an excellent experience waking up next to a big valley. It was a quiet place and really enjoyed the nature around us. There aren't a lot of things to do but that's the whole point just taking a deep breath and enjoying the view. The breakfast was traditional Sri Lankan and the people were also really nice.
