The host was very attentive and helped us with suggestions for our trip the morning after. He also made us some lovely tea and offered food! Everything was great. The view from the room made our trip.

I would have stayed for one month. Cozy rooms with amazing view on the hills and Ravana waterfalls. Very tasty breakfast and kind owners. Close to the city centre. Love it, I’ll be back for sure.

Not just the view, everything is brilliant at this place. The room, breakfast, helpful en friendly hosts, quiet location, fast wifi and of course the brilliant view at the mountains and a waterfall.

I have felt in love with this place. Stunning views from my balcony on waterfall. Monkeys jumping on the trees while having a breakfast and even stealing my mango or banana 🍌.Even the owners were very kind and friendly. I will miss this place.

It has a magnificent view of the hills and a waterfall. It's a great place if you want some quiet time to yourself and not be a flaneur as the city center was a fockin looong walk. The home-stay was a little tucked in so trying to book rides on pickme or uber was next to impossible probably in the whole of Ella. I called the owner who managed to arrange a ride for me to go see the nine arch hill and the tuktuk charged me 2500lkr for a 3km ride.. I didn't mention this to the owner though. My OCD was extremely gratified as the owner was very systematic and organized and it was very easy to steer my way around the guest facilities at the home-stay which has a large kitchen with basics to make your coffee or a meal. They have a large dinning table and a common balcony where you can have your meals at. With the owner being meticulous they will help with meals and even getting grocery if you are willing to pay a tuktuk guy to pick up stuff to drop off at the location. I also strongly recommend you have your own mode of transport when you come to Ella like a bike, car or maybe even a rental tuktuk.. plan ahead.

Brilliant location just a 10 mins walk away from the hustle of Ella town along the railway track. The bed was comfortable. The balcony was great. A wonderful view of Ella rock every morning at sunrise. I also used the fridge and kettle for my own tea. The staff were all very kind and helpful. I would 100% stay here again.

Brilliant view home stay lived up to its name - amazIng views! Bright, clean rooms, comfy beds, great breakfasts, friendly owner. The walk to/from the homestay is very steep, but quite short along train track to Ella and overall great location. Would definitely recommend.
