Such a cozy little tree house! It's right by the train tracks, so easy to walk to any trail, and a short walk to the buzz of the high street. The couple that run it are the most amazing people, so helpful, and will go well above and beyond to make your stay as amazing as possible. Breakfast every morning was delicious! I rented a scooter through them as well, and was able to explore much more of Ella. Would definitely stay again, and recommend highly!

Wow wow wow!! The owner Kasun and the whole family were so kind and friendly. I left my earphones at the hostel and I only had about 10 minutes until my train arrived, not only did he drop me there at the station but also came back again to bring my earphones at a short notice. This stay was wonderful, peaceful and sociable. Breakfast was amazing and beds were comfy. Favourite hostel in Sri Lanka!!

Kasun was truly a great guy who makes this place a very welcoming place to be. He was super flexible with everything and helped out alot. Cozy rooms and everything is clean and well kept. Very cozy and nice place, I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Ella.

The owner is so kind, as he helped me with everything I asked for. The toilet and shower were always clean. The dorm was so lovely, and you woke up in the morning you could see beautiful views and the bird singing. The hostel's location is in good spot, it's so close to the centre. I recommend you to take homemade breakfast as homemade omelette and papaya juice are so delicious. This place is 100% worth for money!

Great outlook. Aircon worked well. Mosquito Nets. Staff are great. Breakfast was well worth it. Cheap. Place had character and despite it's appearance everything worked. (Phone chargers etc, no problem when it rained). Beds relatively comfortable. Nice hot shower. despite it's odd positioning. My previous stay was a lot more up market, so it was a bit of a pleasant change.
