The homestay's location is fantastic, offering stunning views and a strong connection to nature. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the owner was extremely helpful, even assisting in arranging a laptop for my daughter's online exam. I would love to visit again! 😊

Outstanding views, lovely quiet spot away from the bustle of Ella town and a nice big and clean family room. The host family were very welcoming and friendly. Nalaka was super helpful in every way, from organising a guide for our dawn walk up Ella Rock to driving us to Udawawale, giving us lots of local knowledge along the way - legend!

This accommodation was perfect! The room, the location, the owners everything was just great. Staying at Atubowan,Ella was one of our best stays in Sri Lanka. The room was a good size, clean and equipped with a large bathroom and a terrace. In the morning you could see the fantastic sunrise from the bed and subsequently enjoy the rich, delicious breakfast of the accommodation. It took about 10 minutes to walk down to the city center. The property is very close to all the attractions in Ella. Since we are hikers, we were able to do everything on foot here. The owners are exceptionally friendly and really try to fulfill every wish. I can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation to anyone coming to Ella. We would definitely come again and again. Thank you

Exceptional view. Supper staff Big clean room. Easy to visit Ella visiting place. But I most of like the balcony view. Yes we can recommend it. Supper experience. ❤️

Great Hotel. We hiked to Ella Rock because it's very near to our hotel. On the way we saw Mini Rawanaella waterfall. This hotel places on a natural area and we heard and saw a lot of birds and sounds. The balcony view relaxes our mind. We eat delicious food and they provide to us with mineral water bottles. The staff is helpful every time. We highly recommend this place.

Super Happy!!! We loved this property so much! Really comfy big bed, the bedding was clean and fresh.. the breakfast is delicious. All home made Sri Lankan food and it's brought to the balcony where you can enjoy the view and listen to the wildlife. It's also a shorter walk to Ella rock trail head from here too which is a bonus. And also we walk to Ella City on the railway track. The view is unbelievable. The staff help to us a lot. Thank you very much for everything. We will definitely come back. Yes. We can highly recommend this place.

The place was really unbelievable. Their room very large also with a balcony. The owners are very friendly and honest. The value of money is a hundred present. I think, the hotel is situated superb place. Because we can see every mountain in Ella and easy to access Ella Rock, Mini Rawana waterfall, Ella City, Nine Arch Bridge, and Little Adams Peak. We saw the sunrise on the balcony. Food is super delicious. Thank you very much. Highly recommend this hidden place.

Thank you for having us, we really enjoyed being at your place. The hotel is in the middle of paradise. You are surrounded by beautiful nature and it feels great to wake up in this place. The rooms have big glass doors and you can face the beauty while lyong in your bed:) The beds are super comfortable and the room provides everything you need. The family is super caring and helps you with activities. The breakfast is big and you have great variety (toast, rotti, sambol, dhaal, fruits, jam and butter, coffee and tea). Also during the day we could have tea or coffee, which was really nice, after a long day on the scooter. You can get scooters there, too.
