Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable room. Gluten free vegetarian/vegan food combinations offered at dinner and breakfast without any hassle. This is unusual at most hotels in our experience, so it was very much appreciated and we will book again because of this, thank you!

All staff were welcoming and professional and we experienced excellent service throughout our three night stay. We enjoyed the informality of being able to enjoy an evening meal in the lounge bar where the menu choice was extensive and quality of individual dishes very good.

The breakfast was great and you could choose whether to eat in the restaurant, have room service or take away. We had to leave early for a sunrise photoshoot and they had our breakfast rolls and tea ready and waiting for us to take away, which was lovely. My room was simple but very clean and well appointed. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, helpful and attentive.

The bar, with excellent whisky selection. (We were on our annual whisky distillery tour) Kind and helpful staff. Location is just across the train station and bus stop.
