Every part of La Pausa is perfect. The cabanas are private, have a beautiful view and are curated so well. You have everything you need for a luxurious, relaxing stay. We loved not ever needing to leave the cabana thanks to the extremely attentive staff and room service. A little tip if you’re arriving on the bus from Medellin - you can get off the bus in El Penol, which is much closer to the property than Guatape. Don’t bother reading any more reviews, just book it. You won’t regret it. We wish we could have stayed longer :).

La Pausa was sensational. We had a beautiful cabana perched on the side of the hill overlooking the lake. The cabana itself was lovely - really loved the ‘almost outdoor’ shower and the hot tub on the deck. The view was very peaceful - everything was perfect. The food was great - it was terrific to get vegan options as well. The people at La Pausa were excellent. Simon and his team were professional, welcoming and friendly - nothing was ever too much trouble. We couldn’t have had a better experience.

As the name says, this place is amazing to take a break. The equipment is really nice, the view on the water, the fire, the food , the service, the jacuzzi

What I really liked about this Glamping Hotel was how friendly everyone was. As soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed and got offered drinks. We were also greeted by 2 super friendly Frenchies named Oliva and Faustina. Later during the night when we requested room service we got to meet Milo who is adorable and visited us the next morning too. The cabins are placed a bit further from each other for privacy. Everything was clean in our cabin. The cabins are super cozy and they even offer body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. You also have a kitchenette, a fan, and get robes which are perfect for when you soak in the Jacuzzi outside. If you need anything you can always contact the staff via WhatsApp. When they pass by the call out first to ask for permission to enter the outside of the cabin so you’re not caught off guard and they respect your privacy.

Absolutely loved our stay here! Was such an idyllic private cabin on the lake! Comfy bed, so spacious and a gorgeous decking. Would highly recommend.

The location and the view. The restaurant had good food and the background music was at a relaxing and talk-able level. We were very happy with our stay. The staff were also very attentive.

The location itself was amazing! The staff really friendly, the food tasty , everything was great and the view from the room was the most beautiful. This cute hotel is a really good place to rest ! Definitely i will back again Thanks !
