The staff went out of their way to help us, when we got delayed due to a delayed flight. The rooms are clean and nice, and the small restaurant below the hotel are a great little treasure with the kindest people ❤️

The view on the Arenal lake and region from the Nepenthe B&B is absolutely wonderfull. We had a great time there. Breakfast is served close to the property. Personel of the restaurant is very friendly and helpfull. We had dinner as well and they provide enough choices for a family. Toucans were flying around the property. The swimming pool is nice and has the most beautiful view. Definitely a peaceful place to stay if you like to be a bit more remote from the more busy La Fortuna city. We would recommend it.

Great stay in the hotel with amazing view!! Rooms are little rustic but the lake view makes you forget all. Really quiet place. The restaurant of the hotel was also really good and convenient if you don’t want to take the steep road (a 4x4 is mandatory).

The amazing location and incredible view of Lake Arenal. It is also very far away from the people an noise, perfect if you want to relax and also want to avoid crowded areas since not much people live up there. It is also possible to watch many different species of birds thanks to its location and it was also possible to take some astro photos from up there.

This was my second stay at Nepenthe B&B. Didn't get enough the first stay! Awesome location, super nice staff, wonderful breakfast, fantastic swimming pool.... Add an amazing massage by the super charming Fabian & my weekend is complete!!
