Guests arriving after schedule should inform in advance.The property during the low season from 05-01-2024 to 09-30-2024 there will be no breakfast service.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. Great hostel. Staff were brilliant. Eugênio was so friendly and helpful giving all the tips in what to do locally and spending Less. Definitely worth it the price. The private room is cute and super clean.

Welcoming staff, helpful recommendations what to do around in town etc. They can book tour for you to Perito Moreno Glacier. Big plus for USB and international sockets.

Staff are helpful. They’ll send you pages of information about El Calafate and hiking in El Chalten in advance, as well as explaining the “problem” of ARS exchange rate. If they can charge the laundry a little lower (current price USD10), that would be perfect 🤩 I stayed in a room with private bathroom, facilities function well as expected as a motel. Location is good and quiet.

What a great team of people looking after you :) When you book here, you have access to a 24 hour accessible kitchen area, where you can buy produce from the market next door and cook your own food. There are two areas for breakfast, where you can have boiled eggs, toast, cereals, milk, teas, coffee, butter, jam...and the kitchen has a lovely 'pay it forward' with spices, sugar, salt and oils that are needed for cooking. Check the kitchen before you buy at the market! They are very accommodating, allowing us to store our luggage as we enjoyed day trips and tours. The room we were in was lovely. It's small, but perfectly suited to what we needed. The bed was comfortable, there were extra blankets for warmth, and the shower was warm. El Calafate on the whole has water issues regularly, so please adjust your expectations around long hot showers. It is much better to expect a shorter, lovely hot shower, which Lago Argentino provides. My only suggestion to the hotel is to cut some branches of trees that hit against the roof of our room when the wind is up. We could hear the branch overnight, which was unfortunate but easily fixed, I'm sure. The Lago Argentino team are beautifully accommodating and professional. We would definitely boon here again.
