Children are welcome when adults are booking a private room only. Children under 18 are not permitted in the dormitory rooms. Children trying to stay in the dormitory rooms will be refused entry.All guests checking into the hostel must have photographic ID with them in the form of passport or driving licence. Unfortunately check-in will not be permitted unless photo ID is provided.There is no lift access in the hostel and all rooms are accessible by stairs only, over 3 floors.Small lockers for valuables are available with access from 08:00 until 23:00.Males who book the female-only dormitory room will not be permitted to stay and a refund will not be issued.Any guests arriving after 23:00 Sunday to Thursday and after 00:00 Friday and Saturday will be required to pay a GBP 5 late arrival fee to the member of night staff. Please note this is a one-off fee of GBP 5 and not GBP 5 per person." to "Check-in's after 11pm will incur an additional charge of £5 per booking which should be paid directly to the night manager on arrival.Please note, any stays of more than 2 weeks, or extensions to current reservations, must first be approved by the hostel manager.When booking for 8 persons or more, different policies and additional supplements will apply.Please note that you should allow time for your room to be checked on departure as this can take up to 15 minutes, if you fail to leave time for your room/s to be inspected the security deposits will not be returned.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. The building is beautiful and sophisticated. The bathroom is perfect. There is also a hairdryer.

Comfortable beds but careful when you roll over/lift your head as you can easily bang your head on the bunk above. Clean and warm and so close to city centre (5 minute walk onto Princes street) a cool little sitting room for relaxing or socialising with other guests and a kitchen. Have stayed here twice now and will be back.

Not too far from the crowded center. A nice little walk away. And well connected via buses and tram. Loved the locality, it was quaint and clean and silent.

Second time staying here. We had to leave early in the morning and there is always staff around in case you need anything.

I don’t have a great amount of time at the moment, due to circumstances beyond my control, so can’t give longhand comments, but best aspects were entrance to dwellings, upkeep of small kitchen, and a general sense of space, and SOME lovely guests. To add a bit more, there was a good chance of making friends and effortlessly exchanging details, which could be why it was BELIEVED see later I had been there before, but I hadn’t. I think sometimes people are drawn to you because you may fit into that big sis role or something like that, but generally with a few exceptions, people were very friendly. I also do like the active system of giving that they generate, though I think it makes some of the things I later mention, a little harder to swallow! Because you KNOW what ’nice’ looks like!! The area is nice, but at the time was very difficult to get to, (no more room in negative section as there was a bit of drama) well not so much difficult as LONG! But exercise is good.

Staff were so nice and friendly and helpful. I was so tired when I arrived I just wanted to chill out for the evening and the bar/lounge was the perfect place to do that. The showers where soo powerful and just what I needed to de-stress. I had an evening snack deal of soup toastie and crisps. Simple but delicious. Great chat with staff over a Hot choc before bed too. The staff in the morning where friendly too . Thank you for the hospitality and love 💕
