Clean, fresh and comfortable surroundings with plenty of funky touches in art and furnishings. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, good value at £17.95. We parked at Fountain Park, which if you download the Europark app and pay using it, you get overnight parking for £10 instead of £30. We didn’t use the restaurant apart from breakfast but the menu looked nice.

The hotel felt very modern and clean. The layout of the room was lovely and spacious, with a fab bathroom. The added touch of the jetted bath was a great addition. The bed was very comfy too! The hotel is a five minute walk from Haymarket train station which is very handy and also within walking distance to Princes Street. The actual location of the hotel is removed from the hustle and bustle and in a lovely, quiet area.

There was a good selection for breakfast, including Scottish specialties (haggis and black pudding). There were also plenty of normal breakfast dishes: both hot and cold.

Facilities and staff were great on the first day and night, less so on checking out but overall good.

Only issue we had was with breakfast as all the food that was supposed to be hot was only tepid at best which is unfortunate as the food could and should have been ten out of ten.
