Location was perfect for us. Not far from home and we were able to park our car there. Dinner and breakfast were both very good with lots of choice. Staff were very nice and efficient. The hotel was quiet and lovely and warm as was our room once we orked out how to work the heater.

The room was spacious and very clean. The staff were very accommodating when it came to needing another heater. They were very friendly and breakfast was incredible. We ate there both nights, and it was fabulous. The presentation and quality of the food was incredible.

It had everything we needed, felt really homely and cosy, and considering we booked it quite spontaneously earlier that week, we couldn’t believe our luck. We received a very warm welcome and had all our questions answered. Staff offered recommendations for places to eat but we ended up having dinner there which was lovely. Our room was quiet and comfortable, we had an early night and a lie in with absolutely no issues. Breakfast was good; tasty and hot. After check out we drove into Edinburgh city centre for a little bit of a wander and some shopping, it took us 30 minutes to get right into the centre so that was perfect. Really great value for money.

What a gem of a place, we arrive late after a delayed flight and they couldn’t have been anymore helpful. Then to be greeted with a cosy clean comfortable room was bliss. Gorgeous breakfast next morning topped the stay off
