Beautiful family-run boutique hotel above The Canny Man Pub. Very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Super friendly staff. Breakfast at the pub was amazing, loved the selection of hot breakfast choices and continental buffet breakfast. The baguette and croissants were the best I ever had! Quiet location in Morningside with easy access by bus to Edinburgh city centre and beyond. The immediate neighbourhood offers a lot of little shops and restaurants. Highly recommend a stay at The Lane Hotel!

Nice room and restaurant next door. Purpose was to visit our excellent dentist whose practice is a short walk away in morningside so very convenient.
