Hotel Overview

Stay Central Hotel is just a 3-minute walk from the historic Royal Mile. Located in the Cowgate, this lively budget hotel is in Edinburgh's Old Town, within half a mile of Princes Street. It surrounds the Three Sisters bar, a pub and nightclub that hosts entertainment and lively events nightly.
Dating back to 1621, the Stay Central Hotel retains many original features. Its en-suite rooms each have a flat-screen TV and on-demand movies, an iPod docking station, tea and coffee-making facilities and a bathroom with a rainfall-style shower.
Guests can relax outside the hotel, where there is an outdoor plasma screen and seating areas that are part of The Three Sisters cobbled courtyard, which attracts a diverse mix of locals and tourists.
Within a mile’s walking distance from the hotel are Holyroodhouse Palace, Festival Theatre and the National Museum. Princes Street Gardens and Edinburgh Castle can be reached in 10 minutes on foot.

We enjoyed the location a lot, the overall vibe of the place was very European and modern. Good size double room with enough storage. Close to bus stops and lots of restaurants. We liked the option to store luggage prior to checking in as we arrived early. The room was clean and comfortable.

Room was spotless, very close to the town centre and all the nightlife. Staff were lovely and friendly. Great value for money will be staying again next time we are in edinburgh.

Staff were amazing they were so friendly and helpful and really made our trip special! The room was big and clean and very comfy with a fantastic shower. The hotel is in a great location but is next to a pub. I took my 3 children, 2 teens and a toddler, and we were made to feel so welcome and wanted! Everyone was kind and loving to the kids and were actually very supportive to me as a lone parent.
