On arrival it is essential to have the property self check-in instructions with you to access the safe.The property does not have a luggage storage facility.Please be aware that access to the rooms is through narrow spiral staircase only and may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility.Limited public payable parking is available close to the property or a large car park is around 10 minutes walk away.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. Coziness, and we had a good experience living in an older constructed building. I was aware of the stairs before booking it, and it was smaller than I initially thought. Bathroom is great.

The room is so cosy it was lovely coming back after a cold day walking round Edinburgh to the room. The location was perfect so close to everything and there was a cute little pub near by the Jolly Judge where we went for a night cap each evening. Despite being so central it was really quiet in the evening as you were slightly off the main street.

The location is very convenient, the room is very clean, and the amenity supplies are well provided . The room is slightly on the smaller side, but the high ceiling makes up for it, so it’s fine. You need to climb a few stairs, but that’s due to it’s a historical building, so there’s no need to be picky.

Location was the best for sure. So cool to stay in such an interesting and special area of Old Town, in one of the Closes. Also, even if the apartment is by the Royal Mile, the courtyard is very quiet, so a peaceful place to stay. The room was very comfortable, I really loved the bed and the pillows! We went in a very cold weekend (0 degrees Celsius) and the room was always warm, the heating worked perfectly!

Bed, shower, toilet, wardrobe coffee tea facility, TV.. and window. Hop skip and a jump to the castle, Mary Kings . Lovely little pub at the bottom of the building.
