Hostel Overview

Five minutes’ walk from Edinburgh Station and less than 10 minutes from Edinburgh Castle, Royal Mile Backpackers enjoys a central location surrounded by bars, cafés and restaurants. The small and cosy hostel features free WiFi and knowledgeable staff to tell you about the Scottish capital and assist with tour bookings.
Mixed and female dormitories have bunk beds and lockers, and guests can make use of laundry services, hairdryers and adaptors. Luggage storage is available at the property. Bicycle storage is available at the High Street Hostel just across the road.

Sweet, small hostel that makes one feel quite relaxed and 'at home'. Perfect location. Recommended for short stays.

Great location, felt very safe staying at this property and I can't emphasise enough how friendly and helpful the staff were. Also, you get discounts at selected local restaurants and shops which is a nice bonus.

Location is great! Yet the check in process took us 30-45 mins since everyone is checking in at 3pm. It could be more efficient if there are at least 2 person in the counter.
