we were worried about parking, but there is free parking available next to the property. Well maintained rooms, beautiful views

The property was close to the centre (about a 20-25min walk) with a bus stop right outside of the hotel. The check in was easy and you get very clear instructions before your arrival. The room was spacious, and had all the facilities necessary, including tea, coffee, two bottles of water and soap. The shower and bathroom facilities were okay too! Though the toilet didn’t always flush. The staff (once found) so incredibly kind and helpful! In my opinion, the room was totally worth the price (full transparency, I did only pay 180 euros for 4 nights and for Edinburgh that’s crazy cheap) important thing to note; I was out most of the day! I never used the tv- or stayed in my room the entire day. I usually left at 8am and only got back between 9-10pm.

No clear instructions, girls present couldn't work the coffee machine, lighting poor - although there appeared to be a staff member present (on passing) he was not available or made himself known
