This is in my opinion one of the best hotels to stay at when in Edinburgh. The location is perfect, it's clean and the staff really make you feel welcome. The food is really nice... I can't fault the hotel. This is our go to place to stay, I cannot recommend it enough.

We've stayed at The George several times now as it is in the centre of Edinburgh and within easy reach of the train station, the shops and restaurants. This time was to celebrate our friend's 50th birthday and, as they hadn't stayed there before, we decided to make it a bit special for him. Everything was just as before: the room was clean and tidy, tea and coffee making facilities were provided, the bed was very comfortable, and there's an excellent selection for breakfast and all of it is delicious.

A fabulous hotel that does not disappoint. Can’t wait to stay again. A good location in George Street. The room was stunning. A big bed, separate seating area with desk, dressing room and beautiful bathroom with a roll top bath and separate shower cubicle with complimentary toiletries. Fridge with complimentary drinks and snacks. Also a great breakfast.

The property was beautiful, exceptionally clean. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The breakfast was lovely with plenty to choose from.
