Breakfast was really good was just expecting a continental selection so surprised to find out it included a cooked breakfast option. The location is excellent and a convenient walk to Waverley train station.

Great hotel, right in the heart of the old town. Perfect location, great breakfast. The beds in a twin room we stayed in could be a bit better, but still no complaints. The staff is fantastic. And there is a bar at the reception that is open till 4am. Excellent spot.

Found a great deal and definitely worth the money. Only issue was the very affordable room was located on backside of hotel, with no view and absolutely no reception on phone. Luckily they had free WiFi so wasn't completely cut off. Location is perfect!

Excellent location half-way along the Royal Mile and on the main road from Waverley Train Station. Decent breakfast with fruit, yogurt, cold meats and cheese, 6+ cereals, Pancakes, sausage, bacon and other hot food, toast and pastries. Bed was comfy and room had facilities we needed. Staff very friendly.
