Destiny Student - Holyrood (Brae House) is a student campus accommodation. The Royal Mile, the National Parliament and Holyrood Palace are less than 5 minutes walk away. A short walk up the Royal Mile brings guests in the heart of the Old Town, Edinburgh’s historic district.
The property has double en-suite rooms with a shared kitchen and living area. There are also private apartments for larger groups or families. Studios with en-suite facilities, and private kitchen and living areas are also available.
All rooms are en-suite with 120cm-wide small double beds and fresh linen access to kitchen facilities and living areas with TV. Guests can make use of free WiFi access in all areas, as well as the common area, games room and pay-as-you-go laundry facility. Simple key fob entry throughout the building.
Staff are on hand 24 hours a day to provide information on the building and the local area.

Please note that towels are not provided. Upon arrival, guests are welcome to pick up a complimentary towel at the reception, with one towel allotted per person. For additional towel refreshes, there will be a charge of £5 per towel. Luggage storage is available prior check in and after check out at a cost of £5 per bag. Shower gel is available at reception Double rooms have access to a shared fully equipped kitchen. Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. No meal options available All rooms are non-smoking and there is a fine of £150 for smoking in the building. A damage deposit of £100 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property

“Perfect solution if you are on budget”

It is the perfect solution if you want be close to the center but you are on budget. The room was clean and the bed comfortable with a clean bathroom. We were in the back of the building so the only noises we heard were the one of people moving around. The stuff was helpful and friendly.

It's a student dorm, so you shouldn't expect too much in terms of comfort. Keeping that in mind, the place was clean; toiletries, hairdries, coffee, etc. are available upon request; staff is extremely helpful and kind; it is a good value for money. Location is great if you want to visit Holyrood palace or climb Arthur's seat, otherwise, it's a bit of a walk to reach other tourist attractions.

As expected, it is a student accommodation, which is rented during semester holidays I assume. Clean, small room, but everything you need for a good price. Friendly reception.

The location was close to the Royal Mile, the availability of a hairdryer and a fan for the room(helpful if you only had limited luggage), 24hr help at the check-in, the opportunity to store your bags before and after check in, free toiletries and free tea and coffee.

The hotel pleased with its convenient location and the presence of a kitchen with everything necessary for cooking. Thanks to the quiet neighbors, we managed to have a great rest.
