Simple, straightforward accomodation, fine for our 4-night stay. The room itself was clean and everything was usable. Was a super easy base location from which to visit the Fringe; you're a few seconds away from bus and tram stops into the town, and it's entirely walkable without them. There didn't seem to be any major problems with the temperature in the room, although fans (and all toiletries) were available at the front check-in desk. Kitchen area was clean if a little chilly.

The residence was an excellent choice for our stay in Edinburgh. The residence is very clean and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is conveniently located and made our stay in Edinburgh a joy. I really liked having someone at the main desk for check-in and check-out, along with having someone to answer questions. Having the self-serve laundry facilities in a separate building from the residence also worked very well. Thanks so much everyone!

Loved how central it was to where we needed to be. Wherever we went we could always walk back to the apartment. It was nice that it had a common area as a couple who have recently graduated it was nice to be back into a student life kind of vibe

Very cheap for Edinburgh (we paid 67 GBP for a double room)! Our room had a double bed, a desk, and private bathroom. We could also use a shared kitchen and the laundry. Location is also good, and the room felt clean.

Probably the best value for money in Edinburgh during August. Rooms are as you would expect for student accommodation, you have an en suite bathroom and use of a shared kitchen area. Good location for public transport.
