I have stayed at Cheval properties several times and am never let down. This trip was particularly special. We were greeted warmly by reception staff, who dealt with our heavy bags with grace. Staff in general were friendly and responsive but not at all overbearing (crucial for a relaxing stay!). Our room was perfect, with a magnificent view over New Town and everything we could have needed. Cheval have clearly considered every detail in their rooms- we loved the comfy bed, the lighting, quality furnishings and giant bath. Thank you Cheval!

Cheval old chambers What an amazing place. Absolutely perfect in everything. Location: right in the middle or Royal Mile next to pubs, restaurants and shops with a view of St Giles Cathedral from the two big bedroom windows. Reception, lobby an restaurant the nicest and friendlier staff you will ever meet. After two days they are almost like old friends. The apartments are an incredible feat of design and ingenuity. In 26 sq mt they have a mini full kitchen with everything required for a full meal for four. Nexpresso, heater, toaster, even dishwasher. Laundry washer an dryer, closet, bathrobes. A comfy sofa with a center table that turns in to dining, delicious linen and bed with lots of pillows and a beautiful designed bathroom with lighted toile and big shower. High ceilings, high windows provide lots of light and a sense of amplitude. I live in a big house with huge garden and I felt like I could stay in this place for a ling time. Finishes cleaningness are perfect. I’ve travelled Europe a lot in a 200 hotel budget an you either get tiny new or big smelly old. Definitely the best deal and best place to stay in Edinburgh.
