Lovely hotel and staff, bed was a bit stiff and wasn't a full double (2 singles strapped together) my feet were hanging over the end of the bed and I'm only 6ft, great location easy access into city centre

We liked the location; the staff were friendly and helpful; general comfort was fine, as was overall cleanliness. We enjoyed our breakfasts (except for the bread) and the one time we dined in, the meal was good.

Friendly staff, comfortable venue, nice vibe. It is a bit further out from the centre, but the bus stop is right outside and there's plenty of parking. Being further out means there's more space inside, unlike some of the more central Edinburgh hotels

Loved our welcome. Bailey booked us in with warmth and no fuss. Our room was spacious well appointed and retained the hotels historically important features. We ate out at night but breakfast buffet was splendid before we checked out again without fuss by receptionist, Jake. The hotel is a favourite away from the town centre but close enough to reach in 25 minutes on Edinburghs fine bus system.

The room was very good and had all the facilities we expected, location very good for Morningside, as we weren't on a vacation break so didn't need to be near Edinburgh centre. Good bus connections if needed. Breakfast very good, evening meal quality good but choice a bit limited.

We love the location and views from dining room. Good parking. Lovely staff. Clean. Warm, comfortable atmosphere. Tea n coffee, mugs etc good. Good sized bedroom. Nice to be able to open the windows and adjust radiator temperature. Quiet.
