Nadia was super friendly. Free parking was amazing, and it was super clean. It's half an hour walk, so everything is still in walking distance. The location is pretty quiet, which is nice.

The property was cozy and the location was perfect for a short stay in Edinburgh. It had all the facilities we needed. The lady that showed us the room was very kind and gave us some good information of things to do. She even refilled our coffees and teas after our first night.

Very nice and clean room. Good size. Lovely comfortable bed, but I think it could be a bit too small for others. Staff amazing, quickly answer for any questions before we arrived. Close by is a bus station but also you can walk to centre about 30min. Quiet Lovely place.

I had a wonderful stay at Bala house. The room suited me perfectly, it was cozy, comfortable and clean. The location was excellent- only about 20 minutes walk into town and in a nice neighbourhood. Nadia and her son were fantastic hosts, they were so friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone coming to Edinburgh for a weekend.

Mrs Nadia was the perfect hostess. The room was clean, tidy and warm, there was always hot water in the bathroom and toiletries were provided. The area was really safe and the bus stop to and from the city centre was nearby.

The owner was really friendly and accommodating. She made me feel very welcome and helped with any request I had. The room was beautiful, spacious and the en suite was modern and a good size. Everything was clean and serviced. I hope to return again as the location for the town was perfect!

The property is owned by a lovely family who are really kind and friendly. There is a bus stop just across the road with buses constantly going to the city centre, but it’s also not a long walk

We really liked the attention of the staff. very friendly and familiar. We arrived very early but they stored our suitcases and cleaned the room earlier so we could check in ahead of time. The location is perfect since it is a 20-minute walk away and a few minutes by public transport. It gave us the opportunity to see very beautiful residential areas.
