“Outstanding views and quirks with excellent transport links”

The view from the living room was outstanding- as one of the closest properties to the sea in Edinburgh you felt like you were sitting on a boat looking out at sea. Good sized property well equipped with features like a hot tub, 3 en-suites and separate toilet. Good sized fridge-freezer, washing facilities, boiling water tap etc. Transport links from the property were excellent if you don't want to use your car. A bus directly outside the property takes you to Portobello centre and on to Edinburgh and beyond (Zoo etc). Several alternative buses to Edinburgh are nearby (3-5 min walk). Never felt like more than 5 mins wait for a bus. The area is safe, close enough to the busier beach and shopping area to walk but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet and a little rock pooling. Property was easy to contact and responsive to our questions.

Clean and tidy. Absolutely beautiful views. Most relaxing weekend away. We came to run the marathon and it was perfect. The buses stop right outside so you can go anywhere for just £5! The zoo is also really close.

lovely location so easy to get into Edinburgh by bus. Being situated on the edge of the beach was fantastic with amazing views across the estuary.
