Maureen, the host, was exceptionally helpful as I would miss my initial check-in time. Arriving at the guest house, it is a pleasant location with shops and bus stops very close. The price of the stay was reasonable considering I had to book on short notice and the other options in the area were often double the price.

Lovely clean and comfortable room - as it was November we were happy that we were warm the whole time we stayed. Very elegant house and Maureen was kind and helpful.

Amazing place to stay. Very clean, the towels smelled amazing, the sheets were white and crisp! Beds are very comfortable to sleep in. Soap, and showergel provided. Also electric kettle with tea and instant coffe (we didn’t use it since there is the most amazing coffee place on the street leading to the city center, perfect for starting your day) It’s a long walk or a short bus ride from the main street. It’s easy to find and navigate towards the place, there is a grocery market right on the other side of the street. The house is charming, with an old world vibe! There is a tv so after a long day in the city we watched taskmaster and it was super cozy! 🥰 10/10 would recommend and return here.

We only stayed for one night. Location was good, beds were very comfortable, shower was awesome. Bus stop outside, though we used taxi which was about £11 to Waverley station, which if there is one of you then maybe get the bus but as a family it wasn't much more than bus fare for us all. Taxi rank is outside the supermarket across the road.

The room was spotless, comfortable, and whilst fairly basic, we had everything we needed. The host was welcoming and accommodating. Excellent value for money we would definitely stay here again.
