The staff are so friendly and lovely, both in communication and in-person. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. In the past when I had issues with my card payment, they were happy to secure my booking and have me pay in person. Which was really nice of them. They're also very easy to reach on Whatsapp if you have any issues or questions. The bed I had was super lovely and comfy, and I definitely got a really good deal on the room. They have nice different tea and coffee options, as well as bottles of water in the room. And the bathroom is really lovely. The room was really spacious and well lit, and it had a nice chair by the windows for a view out onto the street. There's bus stops pretty much directly outside the hotel which makes it really easy to get to where you need to be. There's also some nice pubs in the area. It's really nice for a visit to Edinburgh if you want to be somewhere slightly less busy and make a trip into the centre of Edinburgh, or for if you're doing anything on the outskirts.
